European River Cruises

I have one major trip on my bucket list before I get too old.  From my research, I think the river cruises in either eastern or western Europe would be relaxing and fulfilling.
So...I am wondering if anyone has ever been on one or knows someone and got feedback. I would really like to hear what anyone has got to say if you've had personal experience or a good friend or acquaintance that has talked with you about their experience. Thanks!

I have the same entry on my own bucket list, but have never known anyone personally that has dome it.

I go on plenty of cruises but only off the coast of the US and on large ships.  I did Alaska but have no desire to do a European one but it's probably nice.
