Not been on a plane in years and I have never been on a train at all! I would kind of like to at some point, provided it's a scenic journey. I would be less nervous being on the ground.

Have been on a plane many times.  Never took a train trip (except for subways) and I would love to take a train ride for the enjoyment of scenery.

Neither one actually but certainly not airplane.  Actually I am a hermit and don't even like driving any more but I don't want to be up in the air for sure.

A plane because you can get there faster.

I don't like flying & prefer traveling on the train or anything travels on the ground.

I prefer trains.  I am fearful of heights.  Trains never leave the ground.

I would take a train. When I was in the army I traveled across Germany by train and loved it.

I vastly prefer a plane to a train. I like travelling, but would prefer to get the transportation part of it to my destination over with as quick as possible and a plane is always going to be much faster. When I went to Oklahoma last year from our home it took about 3 hours on 2 planes and that was enough. I just want to get to the location and start my vacation up as fast possible. The sightseeing on a train is nice, but I would rather focus on that part of the trip in a car on my vacation.

Definitely prefer flying. I absolutely LOVE to travel, and in order to see what I want to see, I need to be efficient with my time. Last time I was on a train (outside of a city) was when I traveled from Brasov, Romania to Budapest, Hungary. Granted, I didn't pay for a first class seat, but especially the bathroom on the train was SO NASTY. But, an experience, I suppose. :D

I have flown, rode a train and a bus and by far my favorite way to travel is flying.
