How long does it take to receive cash out payment?

I'm wondering roughly how long it takes to receive payment after sending the cash out request. I just switched my payment option to PayPal. It will be my first cash out.

Also curious if I will be able to get my first cash out via PayPal, as I am cashing out this month and it says on the account information page:

"You may change your payment method as you like, except for the ~15 days before your cashout payment is due to be paid.  The payment method you specify here applies to all pending cashouts and future cashouts, until changed by you. This information becomes "locked" on the 5th day of the month in which your payment is scheduled to be disbursed."

I assume it will take beyond 15 days, and the 5th of May, to receive my payment if I cash out in a few days, thus enabling me to get it on PayPal and not have to wait for a check in the mail. However, if PayPal cash outs are faster than this, I'd like to know so I can wait to cash out and not have to deal with a mailed check.

You get paid around the 20th of the month following your cash out request. So if you cashed out in April, you'll get your payment around May 20th.

They always pay on or about the 20th of each month.

PayPal payments are typically received around the 20th of the month after you requested the cash out. For example, if you request the cash out any day in April, you can expect to receive a Paypal payment around May 20th.

You set up your preferred method of payment.  Whatever you want.

Did you read anything during the cash out process?  It plainly states that you will be paid around the 20th of the following month.  Even if you cash out on the first day of the month - you won't get paid until the 20th of the next month.  It tells you this during the cash out process.  When to expect your payment.

It also tells you if you use snail mail it will be 4-5 days longer to get your check.  Checks pay the same time PP does.  But it has to be mailed to you.  I don't know why anybody would opt for a check when PP was an option.

If you read my full post, you'd see why I was asking before cashing out. I even put the information that caused me to ask the question in bold.

I am posting this on May 16th and awaiting payment. I have my money sent to PayPal which I recommend.

We could get paid as early as today although that is unlikely. Better chances we will get paid tomorrow but this might be one of the months where we wait until Monday. I have been on FC for 10 or so years and they never once have been late paying.
