Okay, there are sites like Credit Karma you can use to monitor and find out if your Social is being used to open and apply for loans or credit cards.

Does anyone know if there is a way to find out if your SS number has been used for work purposes? Like if someone worked under your social security number?

I would say the Social Security administration in your area could look up your social and see the work history under it for you I’m not sure if you can do it any other way you’re not

you can go to SS.Gov  and look up your Social Security and it will  show you your earnings for the year.  If you think someone is using your SS#  I would be reporting it and finding out.

I know my earnings for last year.  But thanks.  I will check that out. Although I am not comfortable putting my social in on any site but I guess that is the only way you could do it huh.
