No not months later, but I had a text sent twice once, but it was sent almost immediately after the original text.

This was a text that I sent last October and she got it again last night in the middle of 2 other texts I had sent.  Just seems odd especially since the cell phone companies swear they do not keep the contents of text messages over 7 days.  And we know this is a lie because when something happens the police get text messages for years back. smh.  If you really think about it you have absolutely no privacy.

I got a text once from somebody I did not know that said "hey, sorry about you getting broke in to".  Uhhh ok.
I did not get "broke in to".  I should have reported it to the police. I did not respond to the text at all.

I just do not understand how this could happen.  I would call and ask them but they will reply with "we will have to investigate this" and I don't know why but that phrase makes me so mad I cannot stand it.  I have heard that more than once from tech people when you call about an issue.  There is nothing to "investigate". grrrr

No I have never had that happen, but often I get texts that are several months old when I turn on my cellular data. For some reason, there are a whole bunch of texts that just don't come in when I am using wi-fi. I don't know why those texts require cellular data to come in but I am going to try to find out.

No, but technology tends to have a mind of it's own; I have had people to tell me they sent me a text but I never received! so who knows guess they are floating around in cyberspace; maybe will show up one day.

She got it the first time I sent it too.  I have heard of people who just use wi-fi having issues with stuff like that. I don't know what diff it could make.

No, but here are some bizarre texting stories of my own:

1. I have gotten texts from the future (they were dated from either a few hours ahead or even a day ahead).
2. My mom tried to text me a joke and its punchline. The text of the actual joke ended up coming into my phone about 45 times (who knows what caused this). I kept waiting for the punchline. It only came through twice, but it didn't come for several hours (and I knew she would have sent it to me right away).
