Sad Again!

Thank you all for your kind words.  I know my Harry and Heidy are pain free and now playing with all my many cats who are in heaven.  In a few weeks our search will start for one or two cats to join our family.  We will look for ones who either have been in a shelter in a cage for over 2 years, any with medical problems, any who have been abused, or any who have either a slim to no chance to be adopted for any reason.

I'm so sorry you lost two babies in such a short time. Thank you so much for not only rescuing, but for focusing on less adoptable pets. You're a HERO!

I feel your pain - a few months ago I had my beloved Shih Tzu put to sleep due to cancer she got so sick and it broke me it really did.  Now my two son's sister cats who are at least 18 years old are kind of looking the worse for wear so to speak especially the one.  They are grown men now but when they go I know it is going to really be hard on them.  So sad I just think I can't do the pet thing any more.

Well today I had to put down my Heidy.  She was my cat that had pancreatic cancer and sadly she took a turn for the worst this morning.  Three weeks ago I had to put down another cat due to kidney failure.  This is the part of pet owning i hate.  I'm praying this is it for awhile with my other pets.  I don't think I could stand losing three in a short period.

Oh no, I am so sorry.  Two weeks ago today, we had to put another of our beloved kitties to sleep.    May will be a year since we put our last baby to sleep.   

It doesn't get any easier, that's for sure.  It is so true that pets are family.  I get so attached to my precious babies.  For me one of the hardest things is the world is losing a pet.

Nancy Im so so sorry to hear this. *big hugs to you* I lost my kitty in November due to Cancer as well. It came on quickly. I hate that we can only have them so long in our lives. Why cant they live forever like a parrot, or turtle

I am so sorry for your loss.  Putting down a pet is like losing a family member.  For me, my pets are my fuzzy children.

We had too do that with all my cats I ever had. It sure is tuff that is all I can say. Pets are always so super special too have and you never want them to leave you.
