I am moving to a new address.
Is there something I have to do for Fusion Cash?
Obviously, I am not very tech savvy, so I don't know if I will have a different ip address when I change my physical address.

Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance.....I don't even know what day I will have a new internet service so.........hopefully by the end of the week.

You can update your address under My Account. Your IP will change, but that is expected with a new address. I've moved a few times and have never had a problem.

You can change your address under My account and than under profile and settings click on account information. Here is the page to change your account https://www.fusioncash.net/info.php. Good luck with your move!

Oh yes, good luck with that fun moving stuff!! I have changed my address several times also, never had any problems, just make sure you do it as soon as you can, because your IP address does reflect where you are. However, I did my FC while on vacation or out of town and it always worked fine, so the IP address isn't a major big deal. Until you request a cashout, then it's important to have your correct address.   :)

I had to move so I could keep my daughter's son while she worked.  I didn't have any problem with fusion cash when I moved.

I had two addresses for awhile (snowbird) and never had any trouble with using either IP address.  I think the issue comes when someone else with the same IP uses FC, since that is against the TOS.  Since I was (and am) the only FC user, it was never a problem.

This is so good to hear because I hope to move from my current residence with family members into my own place in the near future. I wouldn't want the trouble using this site, especially when my living costs would be immediately going up. Thanks for letting us all know about your experience.

Thanks for your input.  I have updated my Profile with my new address.  Next week, I'll get internet service over there.  For now, when I have time, I am still logging in at my old address as the internet is still active here.

There's a big probability that your IP will change with the location 'cause there might be another provider, or, even if it's the same provider, the cables and connection will be different and this means a new IP too. A problem that you can have with the IP is that if it is banned for fusioncash and you could not acces the forum (if it blocks the banned IPs) but this can be solved by using another IP from a VPN. If you'll not know what's your IP, you can always check it on http://www.showmyip.com. Cheers! :glasses-nerdy:

You should very well know they do not block IPs.  I do web design and it is possible to block an IP or even an entire domain do that anything coming from that will not be able to access the website.

Why would you have to do anything.  Just log in like you always do with your user name and password.  It will not make any difference.

Well yeah I forgot that.  Of course update to the new address.  But as far as where you access the site from that is not going to make a difference.

That doesn't make any difference either.  The only issue is when people have used the same email address for multiple accounts on here.  Yes you are suppose to have ONE account per address but as someone on here has already proved you can have 20 accounts and nothing will be done.  FC has thousands of members.  Do you really think they sit and compare IPs and try to make sure two people do not use the same computer.

Besides that if you access the account from a public library, which people do that, and 2 people happen to use the same computer and both be on this site they will have the same IP even though they are two sep people with different households and not even know each other.
