I just want to think God for looking out for me all these years, I have been thru a lot with my ex husband I have been tormented beaten and name calling all the time day and night he would call me at work just to call me bad names he would hit and beat on me almost every day for a couple of years before I decided to leave he would drag me out of bed by my hair I would work all day come home and he would be pass out in the floor drunk as hell he would be pissed on him self I would cook supper and he would throw the pot out the door I think back on what I let myself go thru and I ask myself why did you put your self thru that why I really feel stupid putting myself thru all that torment. Well enough about that I have this great man now god must have sent him to me he is the sweetest and kindest man I have ever known I thank god every day for what he help me out of and bringing a good man into my life . Thanks so much.

I know  what you have been through Bettyquick, I too had an awful first marriage , I spent 15 years with a man who  was, very abusive toward me.  We had two  boys I had to raise and didn't want to put then through a nasty divorce so I   played it out  as long as I could. But surprise,  surprise  my  boys came to me one  night while he was out chasing women and  brought up the  divorce .  they were scared he was  really going to hurt me bad.  We had a long talk and  yep I filed.  the boys wanted to stay and finish school with their  friends. I didn't move  very far away and was  down to see them almost every weekend or  they  caught the bus to see me. Yes it took me a long time to get over things because he kept calling me and cursing me and  threatening me a lot.  But I made it.
