Seems like you had this problem the previous year but you eventually did get your 1099 and your money. Probably the same thing will happen this year.

No I didn't...got a 1099 from another site with no issues what so ever...unlike here... :turkey:

Didn't you have a problem with Fusion Cash months ago trying to cash out?  I thought that it had something to do with your 1099. You eventually got your money.

I am going to go back into history and see if I can find those posts.

So, this was posted by you about last November.   I went into my history and copied it.   I did not know how to copy the entire post or just forward it ..

Is this a different problem that what you are now having?

Support (if you actually read these)
Its been 3 months to the day since I sent in a support ticket on W-9 issue!
I tried on your W-9 page and it would not take my information!
I mailed you a filled out W-9 2 months AGO!!!
Where it went, I don't know....hope no ones using it for the wrong things out there in Cali!
You now owe me $155 on the nose!
Where is support!!!  ??? ??? ???

Oh, I think that I understand.  The W-9 was so that you could cashout and get paid. The 1099 is so that you can file your taxes and April 15 is coming up fast.

Do you need to send in a 1099?  I do not think so. You must have an idea what you earned at FC for 2018 and just include the amount.

I thought you cashed but got paid in Jan 2019.  If this is correct then the earnings go toward 2019 and not 2018. The 1099 M is based on the current year cashouts not when you actually earned them.

dsosnowski, you posted to double check the cashouts for 2018 earlier in this thread, which is the first step to do.  Later in this thread I wrote a similar post (but much wordier) and stated it as FC earnings received for the calendar year (implying the recent year: 2018).

FC is programmed to automatically stop you from processing your cashout before you roll over to $600.  If it winds up taking FC 2 - 3 months to process the W-9 paperwork and you get your cashout to finally go through, you still won't receive it until the 20th of the following month (which in this case would be Jan. 2019 = new tax year).

OK, NRAJoe, you need to double check your 2018 earnings received by going to MY ACCOUNT tab and clicking on the gray subtab "My Cashouts."  Identify by date your payments made to you in 2018 only.  Total that amount and tell us if it is at or over $600.

Got my hard copy of the 1099M in the mail today.  Good thing I had the email copy to file my taxes.  Thought the law was that all income tax paperwork had  to mail by January 31st.  Should not have taken almost a month and half to get to me.   Support has been non exist since last year.

You just now received your 1099M by mail, dsosnowski?  OMG!  I believe there is a requirement to mail the 1099Ms by end of January, but after that you are at the mercy of the postal system.  It crossed my mind that NRAJoe's mailed copy might have been delayed due to the extreme weather.  Where was it that the post office shut down deliveries for a day recently?

Wow glad I don't have to file taxes

That's the only reason to be thankful for not earning a lot!!!  LOL

At this point in time I would not worry about it. You should have either gotten an email or the 1099 form.  I did $1192.00 and did not make a difference when I filed by taxes.  My daughter did $650 on another site and did not effect her either and her income was about $56,000.  It is a shame that support is so slow especially when it comes items you need for taxes.

To answer my own question in this thread about weather, here is what I found (hope it helps):

News about mail deliveries from The Detroit News dated Jan. 31, 2019:

"The suspension of mail service in parts of Michigan and the Midwest due to record-setting cold this week could affect timely delivery of W-2 tax forms.

The postmark deadline for employers to furnish W-2's to employees is Jan. 31 in order to avoid late penalties."
                                                                              xxxxx

This statement comes from the article "Detroit's temperature breaks 99-year-old cold record" found in Detroit Free Press dated Jan. 31, 2019:

"The United States Postal Service suspended its mail deliveries Thursday because of the weather in nine states, including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois."

USPS has information on their website as well.  In reading these articles you find out the IRS waived penalties to business employers in Michigan that cannot mail out the forms W-2 and 1099; business employers [in Michigan] with more than 250 employees are required to supply them electronically.  Since FC provides 1099Ms electronically it satisfies any requirement by state.
