Try: AMA -American Medical Association or
         Mayo Clinic
         WebMD

Did you read my post?  WebMD does not have stats on diseases in every state or county.  Neither does the Mayo Clinic.  Those sites are info about medical conditions.

Great question but that would mean that people would have to report it and my kids both had the flu but we didn't go to the doctor b/c there was nothing they could do..... good luck with your research

How do you KNOW you had the flu if you didn't go to the doctor?  A couple years ago I was sick for about a week.  I had a family member that swears I had the flu.  I had a bad cold.  That's it.

And "people" do not report this stuff.  There are certain things that have to be reported.  Like measles.  If someone goes to the doctor and are diagnosed with measles it is reported to the health department.  It is the same with things like AIDS and Hepatitis.  The health department in every county has these numbers.  I am thinking it is probably also reported as a number somewhere that is accessible online.

:cat:

 :clover:          Happy St Patrick's Day!!!

This site has a map of the US and you enter your zip to get the flu results
I don't know this is accurate but you could try it and compare with the CDC

https://www.everydayhealth.com/flu/map/

The CDC doesn't have anything.  That is why I asked if anyone knew anywhere that had the info.  I figured they would have it.  I know I have seen this info before.  I am mostly not talking about the flu but other communicable diseases.

It would probably scare the life out of you to know the number of people in your immediate area who may be infected with AIDS or Hepatitis.  These people are working in health care, fast food, and other areas that honestly I would not want them working in if it effected me.  I would not go to a doctor where he or his nurse had AIDS.  Or hepatitis.  Also would not want them fixing my food.

You can pretty much bet the numbers are high every where. :(

I stay away from people all I can.  I know a woman who supposedly had the flu and waited too long to go to the doctor and ended up in the hospital.  Then she was septic and now she is dead.  It came thru a couple of people so I am not sure how accurate the info is.  Both the last two that it came thru should be reliable.  But it came thru at least 1-2 others before it got to them.  So who really knows.

It does seem like more people are dying from the flu the past couple years.  I wonder why.

A very admiral gesture on your part staying away from people.

Most people who got the shot this year also got the flu.  30% is not a very big percentage.

I will eventually find the site again.  I have seen it before.  It may be on a state website.  And then break it down by county.
