RIP Albert Finney

Albert Finney, famous for playing Daddy Warbucks in Anne and more recently in the film Skyfall, has passed on at the age of 82. For me, he'll always be the definitive Scrooge actor from the film of the same name. RIP Albert

I agree with him being the best in Scrooge.

Finney was a 5-time Oscar nominee who played many memorable roles in movies over his long career, among them: Tom Jones, Two for the Road, Murder on the Orient Express, Miller's Crossing, The Dresser, Erin Brockovich, naming a few because this list could go on.  He stated in an interview he cared not for accolades or awards.

I agree his rendition of Scrooge was the best of all who played the character!

Loved him in the movie Annie and also in Erin Brockovich he will be missed he was a great actor may he rest in peace

How sad... I enjoyed his movies especially Annie
82 doesn't seem very old these days when people are living into their 90s.
