SMH  Google is not closing down.  It is only GOOGLE PLUS which as others have said it is a social media thing kind of like Facebook.

I have never had Google not be compatible with anything.

Google closing down , that would be pretty wild news.   And i agree i've never found anything that don't work  with them ! EVER

Are you even reading the comments? GOOGLE is not closing down.  GOOGLE PLUS is closing down.  IT is NOT the same thing.  Either GOOGLE it or READ these comments.

Google Plus is a social media site that never took off.  The social media site GOOGLE PLUS most definitely IS closing down.  You can go to the Google Plus site and clearly see it is not fake news.  It says it right there on their site.

I won't say Google is compatible with everything but Google does off a multitude of products and services other than just a search engine.  No they are not closing all of that down.  Just the social media site that basically was suppose to be like Facebook.  I don't think I ever looked at it over one time.  I think it set it up when I set up the gmail.  Which I actually very rarely use.  I use other email platforms that work better for me.

It was just announced a few days ago.  Do you know what Google Plus is? Or are you confused like most of the people posting in here?  Most people didn't use it.  That is why they are closing it.

Your neighbor is an idiot.  Go to the GOOGLE PLUS website and read it.  It plainly says it on their website.  If you do not have a GOOGLE PLUS page then it doesn't effect you. 

Most people in this country are stupid.  They want to scream "fake news" about anything and everything.  It is not fake.  I do not even know why anybody would have any issues believing this.

I got a recent email that google +is shutting down after april 2nd because there is not enough people that use it. I can understand that because I have a google + page and I use it about twice a week.

I know a lot of people don't seem to mind about google+ shutting down but I cared because I did use it for business purposes to help promote myself. Additionally, I did meet some nice people on there as well. There was a time I was there for a long time. There was also a time I took a long break too. Nevertheless, I understand why they had to shut down because why spend money on something that just isn't working anymore?
