Purple Mattress
« on: January 26, 2019, 01:56:13 pm »
Has anyone actually tried one of these?  Just curious as to if they are better than other brands.  I keep seeing them advertised every where.  I cannot find where to get one in my state though. Not comfortable ordering a mattress without trying it out first.  In the store not in my home and then I have to ship it back if I don't like it.

I'm actually curious about this myself. Heard about it but still not convinced.

:)       ;D      :)   I haven't heard of these kind of mattresses. I would like to try them at the store before having them delivered to my place. You could try the reviews with this mattress, they might give you an idea of how they work for others first.  :)     ;D     :)

Yes I have seen them advertised online A LOT but like you I would be hesitant to order a mattress online.  I usually buy Serta pillow top mattresses from Big Lots.  I would be interested in trying a purple mattress but I would have to try it out first.

A acquaintance of mine purchased one for her spare room ….. her daughter who slept in there for a while said it was uncomfortable.  She kept waking with a back ache.  :o

I know someone who got a mattress in a box from Walmart and apparently it is okay.  I don't think the Purple ones are like that.  I wasn't there when it was opened so I don't know how the one from Walmart worked.  I have one of the 4 inch foam mattresses from Walmart. But it is to go on top of a regular mattress.

To the ones who have never seen this ....  How could you have missed it ???

It is advertised all the time on TV.  That is the only place I have seen them.  Their ads are also very good and clever which messes with your mind and makes you think more high and be more interested in the mattress.

I heard of Purple and looked into buying it. But it was really expensive when I was shopping for a new mattress. I ended up buying a Zinus instead because it was on sale for much less than Purple. I like that it's a firm mattress and the green tea scent is awesome. I've had it for about 2 years now and it still smells fresh.
