Weather
« on: January 14, 2019, 08:43:34 am »
There is a funny thing about weather.. You can never really predict it.. Or control it..

I myself am not to much fazed by weather until the summer months.. I am usually the oddball out shorts and a tank all year round.. I get looks from people and questions and remarks about my decisions but truth be told.. i have some sort of internal heating or something.. because i am almost always hot.. I hate being covered but i do have to keep lotion'd quiet a bit because my skin tends to try out so quickly if i don't apply lotion at least twice a day...

How does weather effect you???

I tend to be cold most of the time.  I wear long sleeve t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts all winter.

I love summer time with 80 degree temps.

My daughter got a sweatshirt with the graphic, "I'm Cold".  My husband gave me lightweight thermal undershirts for Christmas.

I hate cold weather. I hate hot weather. I just wish it could always be between 65 to 75 all the time. That would be perfect for me.

You want to know the truth about the weather: It is unpredictable what is going to happen next.
The weather affects your health, your safety and even your sanity.
It also affects your ability to earn a living.
It is how weather affects my life.

???   I have lived in many states. I have been exposed to all the elements.  I live in the North West. I would rather have  80 Degrees and sunny Oregon rains all the time but, recently it has been sunny and +50 in Portland that is..

I hate the cold...I'm pretty much cold and uncomfortable all winter.  The summers are usually pretty muggy  but it is better than cold and the dreaded snow.

I think that weather is fairly predictable in certain areas. When I was in Florida you could expect warm and sunny weather from six in the morning until six at night with a heavy rain storm at two thirty everyday followed by extreme humidity. In Colorado I have come to expect three hundred and twenty three days of sunshine, two to three big snow storms in March and April, four days where temperatures drop below zero, fourteen days with ninety degree temperatures and twenty days with light rain sprinkles. When not at my day time job I live in shorts, baggy short sleeved shirts, tevas or tennies, a college baseball cap pulled on backwards, and a G-shock watch. This ensemble is known as my freedom wear and I get a little grumpy if asked to change out of it.

Fortunately the weather inside my house is very predictable, which is where I usually stay.

Cold weather is not something I usually look forward to.  I accept seasonal changes for what they are.  I can enjoy snow skiing, but found it's exercise that outweighs the impact of the elements so I don't seem to mind.  However, just cold, windy weather that cuts right to the bone really gets me down.  That is what's currently predicted in my neck of the woods.

I am always cold. I hate winter and dressed in multiple layers all the time. We are due for a storm tomorrow night snow changing to ice and rain and then freezing on Sunday. Yuck! :rose: :peace:

I really dislike the summer months. I live in Florida so it is really miserable to do anything outside in the summer. The humidity is unbearable most days. The winter is usually fairly mild, but we do have some pretty cold days as well.
