Oh, how I used to hate Clippy. Mocking me while I tried to write my papers.

lol.  You pause while typing and he pops up raising an eye brow....  Can I help you???

It took me a while to see that he was a giant paper clip. I thought he was a mirror and I didn't get it. 

I didn't think it was all that funny, though. To each his own. 

That is because you do not understand it. lol  That was my point.  It is funny if you know what it means.

His name is Clippy and he was the "assistant" like the Cortana or whatever her name is now.  He would help you do things on your computer and help you find things.  Some people got annoyed by him because he would randomly pop up and ask if you needed help.  Seems like he had some funny animated things he would do as well.  It was for several versions back of Windows or something like that.  He was the Micosoft Office Assistant.

Okay. I remember him now. The Clippy guy. Didn't much like him.

Still don't think the comic was that funny, but not many of them amuse me.  Only occasionally.  Guess I'm kinda hard to please.

Apparently nobody did.  Poor Clippy.  He was just trying to help. lol

Kind of like Siri when she told me something totally wrong on directions and I told her she was too stupid to find her way out of a cardboard box. And she said "I'm just trying to help." lol
