Starting off the new year

Sorry about the rough night, is she feeling any better?

We have our Granddaughter with us and she was sent here sick. My New Year started off at 1am with her throwing up in the kitchen and on the bed sheets. 2am I was washing sheets and comforter UGH....How was your 1st day?

I am 65 and have two grown sons but no grandchildren and I can't say that I feel sorry about that.  My youngest is dating a woman who has a 10 year old and that is a difficult enough situation.  I don't know I had my children older than some, am disabled and I am just happy enough without grandchildren.  Now back to your situation it does seem rude that you weren't forewarned what her situation was before she came.  Hopefully she will feel better soon.

Our first day was nice,normal,nothing special. Just relaxing because my husband worked till late on Dec 31st and had to go to work on Jan 2nd.
