The lines to see Santa this year was so short at the mall. Today the mall was packed with last minute shoppers but Santa looked so bored; no one was taking pictures with him. I know that there are so many people who do not believe is Santa or the reason for the holiday, but they love receiving presents.

Santa is NOT the reason for the holiday.    I am sure kids in my extended family believe in Santa.  What ever floats your boat.  It seems foolish to seem upset about not believing in Santa and then say oh but they love getting gifts.  Christmas means different things to different people.

My grandchildren believed in Santa up to about age 10. However the youngest one quit believing at around age 8 only because the older ones told her there was no Santa. I think many others quit believing earlier also.
