Ugly Sweater

A friend of mine it actually having a ugly sweater party to ring in the new year!  I don't want to spend money buying a ugly sweater so I'll have to be creative and make one!

We had an ugly sweater dress up day at work.  Lot's of people participated.  I however did not.  I have a sweater that is 1980's cute.  But I didn't want to wear it since I work in a perishable department.  I didn't want to be uncomfortable.  There was a customer though that came in in a full on Christmas suit.  Most hidious thing I'd ever seen.  Funniest thing I'd seen that day too.

I have not participated in an ugly sweater this year but have done so in the past. they can be fun so I am always looking for that perfect ugly sweater for the next year

We just had a family night in and we all wore "ugly" Christmas sweaters. I had a black and white cat sweater, lol.

Have never done that at a party.  Why buy a sweater that you are never going to be seen in it except for the party.

They were fun until stores actually started selling new ugly sweaters. I like the ones where you have to find them better than the new ones made to be that way.

I flat out don't get it.  Don't get me wrong, to each their own.  I'm not bashing anyone for talking part in that, but it definitely isn't for me.

I don't like sweaters ugly or not, all the women in my family wear Christmas print dresses at Christmas

I did buy a Christmas sweater this year that has flashing LED lights blinking on and off controlled by motion. I got all kinds of good comments, but I am wondering how many years it will blink when I pull it out again. They claimed it will last thousands of hours, but  we shall see. I think it was worth the $16 (on sale) I paid for it just for the fun it provided this year.
