Big is one of my favorite movies and I really like a couple of her others that she directed. I use to watch her on Lavern and Shirley when I was little. Boy that seems like a long time ago now.

This made me so sad. :( RIP Penny Marshall! I loved her movies and especially Laverne & Shirley. LOGO's been playing it a lot since her death.

MeTV had a marathon tribute to her over the past weekend.  I missed the beginning because I forgot about it, but when I realized it was on, I watched every episode they played. i even wrote to the station and told them how much I enjoyed it and wished they'd make it part of their lineup.  We shall see. It was one of my favorites along with Happy Days.

She was one of my favorite comedians and turned out to be a fine director as well.   She was the kid sister of Garry Marshall, also another great talent.
