Do you read the newspaper online or buy it or get delivery of the paper at home?

No I don't read the paper anymore the paper here charges for you to read it online and I'm not paying for a subscription online sometimes I do check the obituaries they are free but that's about the only thing I checked now and the paper subscription is so high here that you can't afford it anymore

I don't buy papers I can't remember the last time I bought one it's been years.  We get a little free one page paper mostly just ads and circulars they toss in the yard every week.

Where I live we get free complementary newspapers copies.
I read the basic news and ads. Keep the ads I need and pass
the rest to other people. Online, I never sign up for a subscription.
If they ask me, I click the box- "No thanks" and keep reading for free.

I do not read the newspaper. The news is free online so it doesn't make sense to pay for something that ultimately is hurting the environment. Once a month I will go to the library to review my investments and will spend half an hour reading as many copies of the Investors Business daily that I can get my hands on. I like this newspaper because it specializes in investments. The only time you read about politics is when political decisions affect an investment. Nothing about killing, crime or the Kardashians. If I am traveling I will pick up a copy of the Investors Business daily as a treat. The subscription to this particular newspaper is over one hundred and fifty dollars and I am really cheap. I get a bundle of trashy coupons and local news thrown on my driveway several times a week which goes directly to the trash can.

Our local paper is just junk now and is printed in a larger county about an hour away. Charges way too much for the little content you get.

The paper is online but you have to pay to read it.

So basically no our local paper is not worth reading. I check a local radio station for news and I figure before long they will want to charge to access that part of their site so I won't read it either. lol

Our newspaper used to be good. It was nothing to have 36 pages of news a day. Then they sold out to a city paper. Price is the same but it's really weird now. On Monday, the paper is only 8 pages! The rest of the wee, we're lucky to have 16 pages. They even charge for obituaries now. Horrible!!!! Most of the news is now about the area where the newspaper comes from and not much locally. I pay $18 a month automatic withdrawal from checking account. Otherwise, I'd have to pay the full year. I've been thinking of canceling but I do want to see the obits. Our local weekly paper was just bought out by another city newspaper and they only put one full obit in it and the rest are just a 1-paragraph notice. They still had more info on the town but the only other things I used to read were the Days gone By, letters to the Editor, and the PA Dutch column.

I barely do any news nowadays. Can't tell what or who is telling the truth anymore. BUT! I will tell you, I do trust CBN News. On the 700club. And I recently started watching this channel thats only online called hischannel.com World news. no political noise. JUST NEWS!

We only buy the Sunday paper and this is only to get the coupons and see the ads.  My husband likes the car section. Usually just watch the daily to get the local and national updates

We quit taking our local paper because it was expensive and it wasn't worth the expense any longer.  Newspapers have changed so much because new technology can get the news to us instantaneously. I get a nostalgic feeling thinking about my daddy reading his newspaper every night when I was growing up.  We didn't have a television, and the newspaper was the best way we had to keep up with current events.
