:menorah:   :santa:   :snowflake:  I open my windows when I need my place to smell better, nothing like a fresh scent from outside. I don't do this much during the winter cause it's cold outside, and makes the place colder/heater running longer.  :menorah:   :santa:   :snowflake:

You're certainly not crazy to like a little fresh air in your house in my opinion.  Occasionally, even in the winter here in Michigan, I will open a window for 10-15 minutes.  I usually do this on one of the better days in winter but i just want some of that fresh, not stale, air!

Yes I do, however our community is building out its last phase so there is alot of road dust and dirt which gets in.  If I want fresh air I sit out on the screened porch!

No, I only do it in the warmer months because I don't care for cold temps at all.  I don't even like going outside when it's cold.  I leave a warm house, remote control the car so it's warm and hopefully go to a warm building.

The house I live in is already freezing enough during the winter for my family to ever consider this. We get some fresh air in when we go through the front door. But no more than that.

Not usually - I'm such a sissy I don't like it when it's cold out.  So the only time I open the windows to air out in the winter is if there is a smokey house, it's overheating from lots of baking and cookie or something way stinky is going on.  And I've never encountered the way stinky for to long to need the windows open.

No too cold in the winter.  I might crack the kitchen door if something is burned or if i'm cooking bacon.  The kitchen door leads to the enclosed porch so it's not freezing cold.

I open a window when it is not too cold out side just to let in some fresh air and if I have cooked something smelly

No but we should.  My husband always did it when he was alive.  I just am not good at stuff like that and don't really even know how to open the windows in my new house.  Some kind of tilt out things and we got cautioned on problems we could have with them.  I just leave it be.

I do not open the windows, during the winter is way too cold, and during the summer is bad for the allergic people on my house, if I need to I will do it for about 15 minutes, the only one I would open during summer times is the bathroom window

I live in the Mid-West.

Even in the winter, I have a window cracked to keep the air fresh.

I very very seldom turn on heat even in the winter.

Neighbors call me "the polar bear", but I hate the stuffiness of all windows closed.

No, it is just to cold for that in our area, having to open the door is enough this time of year.
