RIP George H W Bush. I'm not going to lie and say I agreed with his politics (I did not), but I think he was a nice man and deserves our respect.

I believe he was probably heartbroken missing Barbara but at 94 years old he has had a long an exciting life may he rest in peace. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends

He was 94 and in very poor health. I doubt it had anything to do with being heart broken.

I believe your heart can be broken when your sig O dies. I think that's why married people die within such a close proximity of time.

I appreciate all the kind comments from people about this president's parting. 

I agree with you, it is possible to die from a broken heart, no matter the age or health.  It certainly can bring it on quicker than it may have otherwise.   I have known two people who died within a week of burying their significant other, one being my grandfather and the other one of my best friends parent.  Their hearts were broken.

I think it is really mean to make the children of Presidents speak publicly at their funerals, even if they themselves were President. It is so sad to see them break down in public.

R.I/P. President Bush. You were a good, kind, gentle man.  The only reason he didn't have a second term was because he was forced to raise taxes when he had stated "No New Taxes." I voted for him twice. Sad that it didn't happen. Listening to the eulogies today, he also had a great sense of humor and loved his country as much as his family. Yes, I watched the funeral today. Grueling to sit through 4 hours of it but I did. Alan Simpson had the funniest eulogy and it lifted everyone's spirits to be reminded of his humorous side. Son George Bush almost made it through his eulogy until the very last sentence then he broke down, but quickly composed himself.  The whole family deserves respect from this country. They all showed strength and dignity.  Bush Sr. will now rest in peace in the arms of Barbara and his daughter that have been waiting for him. Yes, I believe he was ready after Barbara died. Such a long, happy, and loving relationship with not only Barbara and  family, but he had a lot of respect from both family and friends.  He will be missed.

Oh i get it now.Sorry not a fan of Saturday night.You must not be a supporter of bible cos all i did was support biblical view of death with that scripture.Im sorry truth saddens you.

Other examples too.Adam going back to dust.Jesus going to awaken Lazarus.If man had an immortal soul why would Jesus speak of a resurrection?

Truth of the matter is many have been blinded and cant comprehend logic or just plain dont care what bible says.

If u prefer BS u shouldnt have a hard time finding it in this world.

You evidently focus on the parts of the bible that don't give hope or else a bible of another religion that is all sadness and illogical to most of us. People who believe would prefer to believe the encouraging parts and meeting our loved ones that passed before us once again in eternity of  everlasting life.

Then you dont read my posts.When i mentioned Jesus saying that there would be a resurrection thats not a hope for those that have passed?Gods kingdom replacing this manmade satanic government on earth,thats NOT a hope?144000 taken from the earth and ruling with jesus in heaven thats not a hope for them?The righteous living forever in paradise the way God intended thats not a hope?

I put up scripture in bible that explained death...didnt you read it?You speak of bible and say you believe...what R you reading when you read my topics?The scriptures are referenced.Sounds like to me you wanna beleive what you wanna beleive or the BS that much of false relgeon has taught here.

Questions like why we die....why has God permitted evil...many wanna know those answers.The bible explains it.I understand people want a hope..but the bible clearly says Satan has turned himself into an angel of light and blinded many and he has done it thru false relgeon.

Doesnt the fact Gods people are a worldwide brotherhood in over 240 lands preaching and teaching the truth and having love among themselves mean anything to you?

Doesnt the fact in the name of religeon wars have been fought mean anything to you?How do u have love among yourself and then go kill?Many profess to be Xtian but prove false to its power.

I watched a good deal of his funeral.  He was definitely loved and respected.  He will be truly missed.
