for us until we make a few outbound calls. I prefer a quiet environment.

Since I work overnights everybody else is usually asleep or going to bed.  So I have the whole house to myself and it is mostly pretty quiet.

Pretty quiet except on Fridays when the factory worker come in to complain about something on their paychecks that may have gone wrong and then you really know what day it is

I work on a plane for the most part people aren't talking loud.  Babies cry sometimes but the plane itself it loud so I wear earplugs.

The libraries in my area are the worst. People having loud conversations on their phones, people talking loudly to each other, kids RUNNING and playing, some branches even have TELEVISIONS!

I work in a bar ... It's never quiet unless it's before we open or after we close.

I volunteer at a charity  place, once in awhile it is nice and quite. But not often. The  kids can and will get unruly . I keep packages of cookies and lollipops at the counter, And  bride them. Of course I always ask if  they can have  some because you never know if they have something  and  can't have sweets or the parents won't let them have any.  they  get quite then.  But there are sometimes when it is so busy  I  just have to go outside for a few minutes and get away from the mob. So I get  someone to  just watch while I run out side and  take  a few  breaths  of fresh air and  calm down and the  back at it again.

I work from home and no one is here but me, so it is quiet (except for the tinnitus ringing in my ears 24/7).

Some days it is super quiet and other days it is so loud I cannot concentrate on anything. It all depends on the day, the schedule, and the activity levels.

I work part time 1 to 2 days a week at a grocery store. It's not too noisy. I think the music is the loudest thing there.
