New year plans

Unless I am working, which is usually only till about 8 pm, I stay home with the hubby and the dog.

My anniversary is New Year's Eve .  My dad gave my husband and I tickets to the Fireside Inn.  It's a dinner theater.  So that's what we're doing for New Year's Eve this year.  Plans for gaming on New Year's Day with a friend around noon.

I have to work a full day, we will probably do an early dinner and then watch some movies until 12.

It is not a good day for me, so I stay home and watch tv. Watch the shows for New Years Eve

I am not going out of town for the New Year. I like to bring in the New year at home. For some reason, it feels really strange when it is the New Year and I am somewhere else. I don't like the feeling.

Nawwww I am going to make a tradionally Southern new years meal -ham, black eyed peas, colard greens, corn bread and rice.  Yum haven't done this since hubby passed and I am very much looking forward to it.  Oh yea and maybe sweet potatoes.
