I don't get the state of emergency because it snows.  You say no one was prepared.  WHY?  Did the weather people not predict it was going to snow?  In this day and age there is no excuse for not being prepared 99% of the time.  It is like the hurricanes. They told for weeks they were coming.  People ignored the warnings.

In Michigan where I live we got about 7-8 inches of VERY wet snow! Trees and bushes are just bent down, it is pretty tho

In Va I got my first snowfall a week before thanksgiving and haven't seen any since.  Just nasty rain and honestly with CA's wildfires, they could use it more than us.

first inch was yesterday,,,  today just cold and windy.   I'm ready for summer already.   we went from summer to winter almost.  hate it
