RIP Stan Lee
« on: November 12, 2018, 03:31:59 pm »
Sad day today, as Stan The Man Lee has passed on at the age of 95.

He of course, created Spider-Man, The Hulk, Fantastic Four, The X-Men, Iron Man, Daredevil, The Avengers, Thor as well as bringing back Captain America from obscurity- along with hundreds of other characters over the years.

His cameos in marvel movies were legendary. He was certainly a literary genius the likes we'll never see again.

RIP & Thanks Stan. :'(

I know a young man who is going to be extremely sad at this news of Stan Lee's passing.  He LOVES Marvel!  He buys comic books every month and has a closet full of T-shirts with all the comic characters.  He volunteered at the Siouxpercon convention.  Stan Lee's cameos were legendary.

This is so sad. Stan will certainly be missed. It's nice we have his huge body of work to enjoy still though.

He definitely lived his life to the fullest. Amazingly, he adopted the moniker "Stan Lee" because he didn't want people associating him with comic books in the early days just because he wanted to write his Great American Novel. Little would he know that he would achieve far greater riches continuing want he did.
