Toy Story in 3D
« on: October 04, 2009, 08:45:57 am »
Did anyone go see the double feature?
i don't know if it was worth $60 (2ad and 3 child) and a 90 minute drive but,  I love toy story and, it was much better in 3D.
they are just milking as much $ as they can out of the fans before they release toy story 3.

I love Toy Story too and I am planning on seeing it even though it is a bit more money than I'd like to spend.

I dont think it would be worth it. It just toy story 1 and 2 in 3d if it had toy story 3 I would think otherwise but since its only 1 and 2 with no extra features except the 3d I really think it is not worth it.

The reason behind doing this is so they can make the box set of the 3 movies in 3-D when they are released in stores.

My mom and siblings went to see it earlier today. I didn't really feel like going, so I didn't, but they seemed to really enjoy it.

I would not have payed that much money to go see it... it doesn't seem worth it to me, but maybe I am alone on that.

Haven't seen it but I know I won't pay that much and drive 45 minutes to watch it either.

Same here.  I have an astigmatism in my left eye, and even though I enjoy some 3D movies, they give me a massive migraine for at least the rest of the day after watching.

On Topic:  When I was young I watched the first 2 Toy Story movies and enjoyed them... but that was over 10 years ago.  Now, with out any kids of my own, even though I was thinking of going with a female friend of mine, I just couldn't justify the price of the tickets plus price of the glasses (not sure about anywhere else, but at my local theatre, you have to pay an extra $3 per person for the glasses. and you're not allowed to reuse glasses you may have bought for a previous movie) and refreshments, when it would cost me about $3 to just rent them on DVD.

It is a great movie but I thinkthat it would be a very long movie having both of them together like that.
