This recent bout of ballot issues is truly embarrassing. I love my state, even if it is insane here, but get it together Florida. This just makes our elections look so bad and fishy.

Ohio here,,,,,,,    I feel bad for them going through this.  We had a situation sort of like  that here and it took several weeks to get it right.  I'm sure it will all turn out OK Give them a chance to figure it all out

This is idiodic, why are these people not arrested?  At least never let them volunteer again.

I totally agree.  She should be arrested and charged with the crimes she has committed.  But, you know how it goes in the USA.  Only republicans can get in trouble with the law.  Dems are safe.  Two tier justice system here.

Florida has had issues before. They need to use voting machines and that is the only way to vote. And you should have to show an official ID card. And the results are the results and if you or your candidate lost then suck it up butter cup - this ain't grade school where everybody gets a trophy.
I live in Florida and in my county we do have voting machines and must show a Florida ID. I can't imagine any state doesn't require an ID, that would just be stupid.

I've worked in the Texas elections.  Voter ID Law is mandatory training every year (or more often if there has been a change since the last election).  This is a ticklish area in knowing what is acceptable ID and what is not (the issue known as 'similar names' can pose problems).  It is stressed during training and the Secretary of State requires it of every pollworker.

I might also add that provisional ballots are rather complicated and are handled with kid gloves.  It can cause disruption if the voter does not grasp the concept of having to vote provisionally.

Florida always have voting issues. I highly doubt it will ever get resolved.
