I have had things fall in before that is why I always try to keep the lid closed. I think that has to be one of the worst things when that happens.

I have been lucky and not lost anything in the toilet.  But I probably should not have tested lady luck with that comment!!!!  HAHAHA LOL

It didn't get flushed, but yesterday the lid to my toilet cleaner container fell into the toilet while I was trying to squirt out the liquid.  It has one of those lids like a ketchup bottle with a little hole on the top, and you are supposed to squirt it all along under the rim, them brush the dirt away.  I have no idea why my lid was loose on the top of the bottle, but I was shocked when I it fell off and I had to fish it out.  Thank goodness, it wasn't flushing at the time.

Wow, I have never done anything like that.  I am so sorry it was so expensive.  I have however had an expensive earring go down the sink.  Thankfully hubby was able to find it in the drain trap!

No, but I at least once dropped something in a toilet and made sure I didn’t lose it.

We close the lid so nothing gets knocked in.

I drop things in the toilet fairly often but not while it's flushing so I can just reach in and get it back out.  I have flushed something down the toilet but never called anyone and it was fine so I'm not going to worry about it.  I have dropped my phone in there, usually when the water is clean so not a big deal.

I haven't flushed anything down my home toilet accidentally; however, I have accidentally flushed my work ID down the toilet while at work - slipped out of my hand right at the crucial moment.

Well since then we have been closing the lid, something we should have been doing all along. Live and learn I suppose lol

Yes, my 14K Gold hoop fell from my ear while I was getting off the toilet, and I had to let it go, made me so mad.

I almost flushed my house keys down the toilet  thank god it was just pee  I know its nasty but dam it was my house KEYS!! Had to wash my hands constantly just to not think about it.

My bath towel hangs on the wall next to the toilet. It fell in once.  I fished it out with rubber gloves on and threw it away. I just knew I wouldn't be able to use it no matter how many times I washed it.

There was one time where I accidentally dropped something down the bathroom sink.  It must not have been very important because I can't even remember what it was.   

As far as the toilet is concerned: No, I have never accidentally flushed anything.  I always check the contents carefully before pushing the lever.  LOL   

Now I will say this: There are a number of things that I would like to pretend to accidentally flush down the john.
