Are you where you want to live permanantely?
« on: October 13, 2018, 09:14:17 pm »
I'm not.  I plan on moving in a few years to someplace warm all year.  I'm sick of cold weather.  If I never see snow again I will not miss it.

I don't know where I want to live permanently, but I know it's not here. If going outside during the winter months can literally kill you within minutes, nobody should live here. Earlier this week just down the road from my house, they found the body of a man who was last seen right before a cold spell and snowstorm last April. That's messed up.  :(

No, I'm not.  But I'm not sure where I want to be.  Somewhere warmer though.  But in reality I'll probably be here the rest of my life (maybe in a different town though).  :moon: :moon:

I will probably always stay right here where I was born and raised. My hubby and I lived 30+ years ago in N.C. mountains and loved it but moved back home after two years to be close to mom -  love the mountains but need to just stay here in central florida where it is warmer.

I will live in this general area but I probably will not live in this exact house forever.  I use to think I would stay her til I died but I probably won't.

I live in Georgia, in the city, lived the country for years til we moved into the city, the country is basically one day where I want to be, but not too far into it, need access to the city just in case something happens.

I am where I will keep my mailing address, most likely, for the rest of my life. My wife works for the world's largest engineering firm with offices in nearly every country of the world so we will begin exploring different countries, as projects open up in those countries, As soon as the children have finished their undergraduate studies. My daughter is looking at a Cambridge  post graduate degree, next year, so we may aim for a project in England after her first year as my son will still need to finish his undergraduate degree. We are pushing my son to do some summer internships; one with  the largest bank in the country (we have a huge connection in Chicago) or the biggest hedge fund group in New York (yet another gigantic connection) which should get him on his way.

No I'm not. I'd rather move out of VA but my parents are here. Next year I am hoping to move into another city. Possibly another apt or house.

I'm planning to live in this house until I die, but who knows.

Who knows, I think so, but I try to make sure I am prepared for unknowns too.

I'm not.  I have a home in one town that I would like to sell.  Right now I stay at my daughter's house so I can keep her 3 year old son while she works.  If I sell my house, I want to move closer to them.

I'm not sure.  I live in Pennsylvania and would love to move to a warmer state.  The problem is my sister and her family, my husband's 2 brothers and their families, and our 2 girls and their families all live here so we will probably stay here.  Not necessarily in this house, but close to where we are.

I would love to live somewhere close to the ocean. People think I am crazy because of hurricanes and such but the ocean makes me happy and feel at peace.
