It just depends on what I am letting go of.

Depends on the situation. Sometimes it's hard to move on.

I have a lot of trouble letting go of life's problems and difficulties even when there is absolutely nothing I can do about them. I try to put stuff out of my mind but I just become obsessed with thinking about them on a daily basis.  I try praying about them especially when there is not concrete action I can take or I have done all I can but nothing seems to work. Do you have this problem as well or are you able to just move on.

Why do you punish yourself like that?  Holding on to something only stress you out more, the longer you keep holding on.  If it's not positive, get rid of it.  You are hurting yourself and I do mean physically.

It depends on what it is. If you are trying to let go of abuse or other traumatic experiences then maybe a psychologist can help. If it is just small things then try meditation.

I do tend to dwell on things. My marriage ended over a year and a half ago and I'd be lying if I said I don't think about it every day. I know my ex-husband could care less -- he has a hot, young boy-toy to take my place and he was always a total *bleep* to me. It just hurts when you're that close to someone, that it can all be over in a minute. I have someone new in my life too, someone I actually like a lot better than my ex-husband. But it's still hard knowing my marriage didn't work out and I'm not 100% blameless in the events that led to the divorce.

For the most part no, I try to move on and not block what might be my next blessing; I do  think some things are harder then other to let go of.
