To me one of the best things about Autumn is the Apple Cider.  There's only a short time when the apples are perfectly ripe and the cider is delicious.  I bought some apple cider today and it is very good but not quite perfect yet.

The best for me is the temps not hot or cold but just right.  Fall is my favorite season for those reasons.

I love the colorful leave changes, cooler temperatures, and excitement over the upcoming holidays: Halloween, Sweetest Day, Dias del los Muertos, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve. I am jazzed because I am usually ahead of my goals (set In January) for the fourth quarter. I usually save all of my vacation time from job one to use in quarter four so that I have extra time to meet any goals that may be lagging behind. It does not look like I will need the vacation time for catching up but, instead, can use the vacation time to get even further ahead! I had all kinds of household projects to get through and it looks like I am down to only three so I may even have time to work on my old jeep! I do aim to have all of my holiday shopping done before the thirty first which may prove tricky.

Fall, specifically September, used to mean a Family Trip to the Apple Orchard.  The orchard holds a Festival and used to have horses and mules pull wagons out to the apple trees.  You would get dropped off by the variety of apple you wanted to pick.  They also have a small petting farm, which the kids loved.
We picked a large bag of apples to eat and then purchased another large bag or two of "seconds", which were apples that had fallen off the tree that had been picked up by the staff, washed and bagged.  I made Apple Butter from the seconds and apple crisp.

I love fall too.  It is my favorite season.  I particularly like the cooler weather, the beautiful leaves, and the clothing you wear, such as sweaters and light jackets. I like the drives that I take in order to enjoy the beauty of this season. At least one of these drives is usually to the apple/cider orchard. There is usually nothing more enjoyable and inspiring to me than a sunny, crisp, fall day where the leaves are still mostly on the trees but so colorful!

I've never been a fan of apple cider.  I'm not big on apple juice either.  Never was.  I'd rather chomp down into an entire apple ... I like that crunch - or occassional squirt of juice an apple has like an orange.  Which is ironic that my favorite apple is the golden delicious which isn't as firm or juicy.  But the flavor - oh the flavor.  I'll even mix it with a few other apples when I make pie.

I haven't had apple cider but a couple of times in my life and those were probably thirty + years ago when my husband and I lived in N.C.  I guess you can buy it here in Florida at the grocery store but it is not the same as buying it somewhere at a road side stand where apples are grown.  Well enjoy

The best things of the fall is the cooler weather, the caramel apples are back in season and apple cider. That what i really look forward to

I am so ready for  cooler weather, We don't have enough AC at the Ministry of Hope and  it about gets all of us down. So  now it will be a little better and then real good when it gets cold .  I can always dress warmer in the winter but there is only just so much you can take off in the summer or wear when working.

I'm with all others on the reason I love fall.  Temps drop, although you wouldn't know if from this week, back up in the 90's and high humidity.   Leaves changing colors and getting ready for the various holidays.  Oh and how I love me some candy corn!!!   We enjoy apple cider too.   Now if the temps would just get a bit lower!
