I'm going to the gym again today. It'll be in about 40 minutes on my lunch hour. Another 15 minutes on the treadmill? The way I see it, it's better than nothing.

At 65 years old and disabled to boot I am afraid as much as I would love to help I probably won't be much.  I walk with a cane or walker but I could go up and down my hall instead of sitting at the computer or napping.  So I feel your frustration.  I wish I could do more as well.  Best of luck to you in improving your situation.

Maybe a complete check up is needed at this time and then get suggestions from the doctor.

I know what you mean.I was in your shoes one time. That's why i am working out at home and i can feel the difference. Sometimes we don't feel going anywhere and it's not laziness.

Maybe you need to see your primary for a complete work up?

Totally agree with seeing your doctor.  My husband was feeling sluggish lately and it turned out he needs more vitamin D.  So he started on a supplement and feels better already

It's absolutely better than nothing, congrats.

I think it helps to set out to do a smaller amount than you know you're capable of then increase it daily; for example, set out to do 10 minutes today, 15 tomorrow, and so on.

I agree we all get lazy after we eat. But if you want to diet and exercise  we have to see someone to customize a plan for you that will work and that you won't get tired of

I don't know  but some days I could just sleep all day.   Everyone has them.  So I wouldn't worry about it

There are no real tips.  You just don't want it bad enough.  You say you'd love to lose some weight, but that's just like me saying I'd love to win the lottery.  If you get to the point that you want it bad enough, you will make it happen.
