Entertainment Survey (movie trailers)
« on: September 21, 2018, 01:46:09 pm »
How many members have successfully completed these surveys?  I'm curious because I usually enjoy them, however, they can sometimes go on too long.  Typically, they pay a little better than the run-of-the-mill surveys offered.  Today I got one and the trailer to review would not load (I tried reopening in a different browser, too).  This trailer was in rough form to begin with.  Too bad -- lost it.  :(

What is your experience with these?

I love getting those or the entertainment ones. They are so easy to do and pay .75. I could do those everyday if they were available.

I don't think I've had what you are describing. Movie trailer surveys would be cool.  The closest I've gotten to that would be the advertising videos. They are pretty entertaining also.  I'm always pleased to get one of those.

Where is the survey located?

Where is the survey located?

The specific survey I was referring to in my original post was found among the Opinionetwork surveys for $1, entitled "Entertainment Survey."  First of all, I'm not always able to qualify by my demographics because they fill quickly, but I must have been one of the early ones to click on this survey this time.  They ask the usual opening questions, including identifying your favorite movie genres and, sometimes, actors or directors, and then present you with a video trailer in 'rough form,' meaning you may find it too dark, with text scrawled across part of it and/or the audio is poor.  This is due to their taking the movie editing in rough form to use in composing an ideal movie trailer for audience viewing.

Second, I've experienced a few of these surveys before (Opinionetwork, Your Surveys, Toluna).  I believe they may scrap the survey anyway because a poor quality video yields undesirable results when they want to get survey takers' feedback.  So, they rework it and submit it again using another video.

While losing out on that $1 survey was aggravating since I've taken these type of surveys successfully in the past, I hope I help others who encounter these for the first time.  They can be tedious, but usually enjoyable.

Shame you lost your $1, that's really a bummer.

Never had a film trailer survey, but have done a number of television commercial surveys.
