Growing up did you attend public school, or private school?

I went to public schools all my life ( 10 to exact) first grade lived with grandparents as my family lived way out in the boonies, no bus service. Then we moved to town, 2nd grade in one school . 3thrd, in another as one school burned and we had to be shifted, then back to my second grade school. spent the 3th and 5th. there. then on to another school. spent 1 year there then  went into middle one year there and then we moved to Ohio. My stepfather was a logger and we went  wherever the logging jobs were. I had never really ben bullied until then. And it was not the kids it was the teachers, the dummies could never get it straight that New Mexico was a state.

All public schools. I don't think private schools really had convenient qualification of Special Ed teachers if at all.

I only attended public schools.  When I started school we didn't have kindergarten.  We started in the first grade.  My daughter attended private school from kindergarten through ninth grade.

I attended catholic school which is like private school.  Very strict in nature with nuns and priest but was a good thing.

Public school all the way for me.  Then two years in a private college, then back to public my last two years.  It was all good.

Attended private school til 6th grade than switched to public school.  Believe it or not I am a muslim but my parents put us in private catholic schools.

I went to public schools in a large city and they were a complete mess. I learned how to fight-period. I was in all of the advanced math and english classes which wasn't saying much. I was out of middle school for four months due to a teacher's strike which gave me time to hit the gym prepare for the bullies. My high school was one of the first to implement forced integration so I was glad for the many beatings I received in middle school because a whole new level of violence erupted when kids were shipped to my school that did not want to be there. We had metal detectors at every door. I was suspended three times for protecting myself and my parents decided, after the third suspension, that living in the suburbs was a better idea.
