I use both. I have used maps for most of my life and a few years ago I got GPS to make things easier. If you do any real traveling you still need to know how to use a map because GPS has a habit of taking you some real dumb ways places you want to go.

GPS is what i use. Before I go on long trips,I will glance at a map to look for certain roads, but yeah, I GPS it.

I use GPS. Maps are used as back ups.

Definitely global positioning systems. They are free, easily accessible and do not need to be refolded. Siri is hit and miss while google maps has stepped up to the plate. I was a boy scout and quite good with maps but they are so unnecessary if you have access to a cellular phone. Sad for today's generation. I still wear a watch (with a real hour hand/minute hand and numbers) while subsequent generations rely on their phones and ask me two or three times a day what time it is because they have forgotten their phones somewhere. Many are unable to compute rudimentary math equations without the calculator on their phones. Social skills are being lost to cell phones as you see families of four going out for dinner and all four are glued to their phone screens.

I only used a map probably one time and it was a pretty good experience. I got to where I needed to go without getting lost. The GPS on the other hand has gotten me lost and it lost service several times in the middle of a trip. I don't like the GPS.

I rely entirely on my GPS (standalone as well as on my mobile phone). I do not know when was the last time I used maps.

Of course I can read a map.  I remember having the US Atlas in my car and that's how I travel pretty good distances.  But I don't understand at all why anyone would prefer to do it that way.
