Dieting is one of my least favorite things to do in life. I used to diet before every marathon and went through just about every fad diet I could find: three day hot dog diet, five day ice cream diet, four day potato diet, seven day soup diet, and numerous pne day fasts. One of the best diets was the Mayo Clinic diet which allowed plenty of food over two weeks but was guaranteed to lose twenty pounds regardless of what kind of shape I was in. The body for life diet, coupled with exercise, was by far the best and healthiest diet over a twelve week health span: I lost forty pounds and reduced my body fat from eighteen percent to eight and a half percent while creating an appealing body (wasn't afraid to take my shirt off in public). Diet alone does not create the ideal body unless you just want a smaller version of what you currently look like. I have heard the Paleo is a good diet but expensive.

just stick to eating things that are grown as opposed to all the processed stuff and no diet is required.... everything in moderation works very well...

:bunny:   :cat:   :dog: I'm unsure what kind of Paleo Diet would have someone eat. To me when you stated caveman or cavewoman kind of diet to me this would be living from the land. That's what cave people eat.  :confused1:   :bunny:   :cat:   :dog:

I don't really do diet plans and don't know much about this one.  I do know that you can eat beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, pork, salmon, and shrimp. Also eggs that are free range, pastured or omega 3 enriched and vegetables which include broccoli, peppers, onions, carrots, and tomatoes.

I couldn't do this diet, but I know a few people who have and they've lost 30lbs so far. It's a lot of effort, imo.

I have never been on a diet just try to eat healthy as in more fruits and veggies.  I haven't had any chips in two weeks.

Ask a doctor before starting any diet. I am a fitness instructor and i would suggest to do it.
