I wake up very early.

I have my first cuppa joe while I am playing scrabble online.

It is free, fun, helps me stay mentally alert (I am 75), and it does not cost me a cent.

I play games an pogo, I spend about 10.00 a month and I feel guilty sometimes but it is basically the only entertainment my husband and I use except TV. We worked all our lives . I would say spend a little on yourself

I play games now and again but not on a regular basis.  I, too, am retired and alone but only let myself get into games on occasion.  I will say that once I have to pay I'm done.  I can't think of the game right now but I really got into one once. However, I saw I wasn't going to be able to make it to the next level unless I paid and I finally just uninstalled it.  Done!!

I occasionally spend money on a facebook game when I get "stuck" and I know or guess it is a waste of money.  I mean I pretty much know it is but it is my only form of entertainment except watching a little netflix.  I am 65 and all alone most all of the time and I really enjoy the game but I should save that money.  Is there anything you do similar to this? 

If you can afford it then I guess there is nothing wrong with spending money on virtual games.  Not a lot different than buying food you let sit in the fridge til it grows fur and having to throw it out.  At least you get something out of yours.  All I get is fur I can't touch. lol.

I have never spent money to get unstuck.  But have bought games from the app store where I paid for the game.

I play plenty of games but I never spend any money on them nor do I plan to.  Lot for the free games and keep your money for other things.

I may have once on a Facebook game. Have you tried Club Pogo? Those games are much more fun than the ones on facebook.

Yeah, I never spend money on games, except maybe at a casino. They’re a gigantic waste of money.

I don't play Facebook games, but I click ads for pennies or take surveys for the penny they give me to be disqualified, so it's just as mindless.

I play games, but I never paid anything for one.  But if you enjoy it, have the extra money, go for it.

I've never paid for in-game stuff, just for the whole game itself. I used to play a "free" mobile game which turned out to be a waste of time. It was pay-to-win, because if you didn't buy all the little add-ons in the game, you'd have zero chance to win. They start you off with "buy this bonus pack for only $.99!" and then you buy a few, and the next one is "buy this bonus pack for only $5!". The price just keeps going up and up every time you buy them. Some people spent THOUSANDS of dollars on their game characters/guilds/teams, and they were at insanely high levels that the average gamer would never achieve.

You have to be careful. It's just 99 cents here and 99 cents there, but if you're not paying attention, it adds up quickly.

I play free games on Facebook all the time.  I don't pay for those games.  Continue to look for free games.  After all you are online to make money and not spend money.

I  play about once a month when I have time, but am  cheap I don't  pay money for them. I play the ones where they keep giving you  points to play and when they are gone so is the game.  Hubby plays all the free games to. He plays more then I do. But of course he likes to play chess and I never got into it or we would play the real thing.  We also play some  card games at night instead of watching the TV all the time.
