I appreciate the benefits of living in the country but I'm with you.  In the city but not downtown.  In a low key part of the city.

We lived in the country for years before we moved into the city, its more easier, I'm surrounded by eating places, hospitals, grocery stores, I guess you would say I live in the heart of the city.

I don't like the noisy hub bub of the city, but don't want the loneliness of the country, although I love the beauty of it.  I'm quite happy in the suburbs.

I live in the suburbs and really enjoy it and doctors and restaurants are in a ten mile radius.  I don't like traffic and noise so this is great for me.  We have seven great neighbors and we all look out for each other.

I am a suburbs-type person.  I don't really want to be directly in the city, but I don't want to be far off.  I like to look out my window and have a sort of country feel, but I want the advantages that a city offers.  I don't want to be far off from restaurants, shopping, doctors, cleaners, and everything else.  If I absolutely had to make a choice, I'd pick a medium size city.

I am a city person or at best I need to live close to it, I like to have access to everything. Rural living not for me!
