Are you afraid to fly?
« on: July 30, 2018, 07:04:08 pm »
I do fly. I can be honest and say that I pray. Probably the entire time I pray. I wish a new way of travelling would be invented so that I can see more of the world often. But I guess for now, I will have to deal with it.

not afraid of flying,,,  just don't like to.  makes my anxiety go crazy.  I get air sick also so I need to take meds for that too.  so I would just like to keep my feet on the ground and drive  :)

No.  Never have been.  It's my job.  I was five years old the first time I flew by myself.  I'm more afraid of driving to and from the airport than I am flying.

I've flown before, I was excited instead of scared. I feel more scared of flying in a small few people aircraft then a bigger airplane.

I have to travel for work sometimes. I don’t mind flying except in bad weather when it get real bumpy.

I've only been really scared a couple of times, usually not.  My thing is driving over bridges....panic attack time!

I do not fly.  First off I don't want to be groped and fondled before I get on a plane. And second there are too many bad things happening from crazy people hi-jacking planes, to ignorant people putting their nasty feet in your face (which I would get the plane landed for someone doing that to me), or the pilot being crazy and crashing the airliner into the ocean because he wants to die.

I'm not afraid to fly, but I don't like to. I wish we had a train system like in Europe.

I used to be a little jittery taking off and landing in an airplane.

But the last time I flew (about a month ago)  the boarding was simple, the people were all very gracious and by the time we took off after a five-hour delay, I was just elated to be going anywhere and didn't even think twice about taking off or landing.

Yes, I am very afraid to fly. I have not flown since the 9-11 attacks. I now have no desire to fly. Much to dangerous world now!

I am afraid to fly. The last time I got on a plane was in 2007 and I was very nervous because of the 911 attack. Ever since then I travel by car or bus. I want to take a train one day.
