I like hanging out by the pool or going to the beach. Both are very relaxing. I have also done pretty well in the garden this year which can be relaxing when things are actually growing.

Just staying at home and going to my church, so really no vacations.

We have taken a few weekend getaways but haven't taken a real vacation.  I am saving for a trip back to Hawaii next year.
Have a wonderful day!

This summer we took a mini 4 day weekend trip to the beach. It was very relaxing. In the Spring we plan to go to Disneyworld for 7 days.

Sadly I have not had a vacation this summer. My last break was at Christmas. Fifteen hour drive to Arizona, two day stay and a fifteen hour drive home-didn't really count either. I get seven weeks of vacation per year but usually spend it working a second job. I was planning on taking my wife to Hawaii in January, some friends offered us a free room on their yacht in the Virgin Islands at that time (as well), But my son got into a little bit of trouble and we anticipate about ten thousand dollars in legal bills to take care of the trouble. Sigh-maybe in our next life (LOL). My wife manages to go on vacations every three to four months (as do the kids) and my goal is to provide everything that I can to my family that will help them be successful. I am happy making a penny here and there.

I went with my dad, stepmom and her daughters kids to Destin Florida. We actually just got back a few days ago. My husband and I usually go to Panama City beach for a week but couldn't go together this year.

I'm not doing either. I'm actually saving up my vacation time at work so I can sell it back and get some cash to make my car payment. It sucks being poor.

I plan to go to Nashville at the beginning of Sept. I want to do a little sight-seeing and going somewhere I have never been.

We mostly stayed home this summer. We only went out of town once when we went to sea world, but we just did local things for the most part of the summer.
