*bleep* Stars Patriarch leaves son out of will
« on: July 18, 2018, 06:44:39 am »
Did anyone read this and read why?  How do you feel about it?  I have mixed feelings - I think it is bad or sad in a way but who knows what goes on in a family.  Out of 3 kids my mom wanted to leave my sister and brother out at the end but I talked her out of it.  I knew they would blame me and once you do that and pass it can't be changed.  They had problems and got plenty off her when she was alive but I didn't know what was right.  They accused me of enough as it was but at least I could say hey you got just what I did.

I don't know, but his son Christopher will probably try to fight it.

I did read that & was curious as to what had transpired for the father to cut out his son & was that truly the entire picture.... like did the one son get a trust in which to dole out money to the one son that was cut out.

One of my in-laws brother got addicted to drugs, & even though he was married & had kids, when their mother died she still left him out of the will... thinking it would only contribute to his addiction issues.  It sort of is wrong that money wasn't put in trust for his kids, like for college, but that family got nothing.  It was pathetic really because the siblings of my in law are VERY well-off & didn't even need the money.  The one kid who needed help the most got the least...

Anyway...

No I hadn't heard about this that's very sad when a parent leaves out child even if it is because they think they're doing what's best for the child. That would be a very hard decision to make I think

I read that in an article.  It didn't say what the son's "issues" were.  I am assuming drugs.
Have a wonderful day!

As long as he was competent and not under any duress or undue influence when he made out & signed his Will, I see nothing wrong with this. There are an infinite number of legitimate reasons why a wealthy parent might leave a child out of their Will.

Why LOL is there a *bleep* at the beginning of my post - I guess you can't specify a show name because I certainly say anything naughty wow never had that happen before.
