I have Amazon Prime. I really like that if i need something i can't find at the store i usually can get it online and shipped to me within 2 days. I did not buy anything special today.

I have had Amazon Prime and enjoyed the free shipping.  However, since I am not a regular online shopper, I  do not plan to renew Prime.

My son picked up a television with a forty four inch screen to take up to school. He had priced out similar televisions and his purchase price on Amazon Prime was over one hundred and ten dollars less expensive. One of the family members grabbed my Camelbak thirty four ounce water bottle (I had it for five years) and I replaced it with a stainless steel, double walled water bottle which will not leave my work desk for anything but refills and it was over fifty percent off.My wife grabbed some tennis *bleep* at forty percent off. My daughter grabbed a book on Differential Mathematic Modeling for half price which sh hopes will help her get a scholarship at Oxford or Cambridge in the United Kingdom. All in all the money was well spent across the board and the savings were significant.

I forgot  about it yesterday and did not have much time any way. But I do a lot of shopping on Amazon.  We have to drive anywhere from 80 miles one way to 170. depending on where we go. so if I am just need a few staples and do not want to have  pay the inflated prices here I go on line to Amazon or  Walmart depending on what I need and save my self the gas to drive so far. Then when we do go for doctors visit I stock up on meat and whatever I want in bulk and come home.  Saving big bucks

My husband and I have a baby on the way so we got a new crib and swing. My free trial of prime just ended about a month ago so he signed up for a free trial.

Is amazon prime really worth the yearly fee?

It really depends on how much you plan on spending at Amazon every year. I bought my membership with Amazon gift cards I receive from other sites like FC. We use Amazon almost every week so for us it is worth the cost.
