On Amazon Mechanical Turk (or MTurk), you can make money from doing small jobs like the tasks on FusionCash. You can use what you earned from MTurk, on Amazon.

I signed up to do these quite a long time ago - but always forget about them, so I have earned very little (if anything) through it.

I've been working on Mturk for years.  It's my biggest earner.   Small tasks/surveys to complete.  Many are posted by universities so summer is a really slow time for Mturk.   I love it and do really well with it.   It can be difficult when you first start but the more you do the higher paying surveys, etc. you will receive.  Many times bonuses are paid.   But like I said, summer time is slow.

anyone try this got reminded by  a facebook post. I guess its like tasks . maybe another way to make money.

I checked in to it extensively.  It is confusing and hard to get a straight answer out of Amazon.

First they say you only have to turn in your earning on taxes if you make over $20,000.  I ask about that and told them it is $600 but they just double talk and I can't get an answer as to why it says $20,000.

You have to provide your social security number before you can work for them at all.  Yes, it is tasks.  Kind of like the surveys on here the person or company behind the task can reject your work and you do not get paid.

Any person or company behind a task can request your social security number and Amazon will send it to them. They can send you a 10-99 after any amount of earnings if they wish.  So you could get a hundred 10-99s at the end of the year.

Some reviews say the tasks are also like the ones on here and the surveys.  It says it will take 5 minutes and you end up spending 30 minutes or more on the task and you might get paid 3 pennies.  You also do not get paid immediately.  It could be a month or longer before you receive your earnings which again could be just a few pennies.

Some people claim to make quite a bit of money on this but after all the research I done I decided it wasn't worth it to complete the sign up.

And you have to be approved by Amazon.  It isn't like these sites where you just sign up and you are a member.

You can also link your bank account to it and get paid cash.  Either way you have to pay taxes on ALL your earnings.

I have worked it for several years.  I like to do the short transcriptions on there and a few of the other small tasks.  I've made over $200 with it, not working very regularly so it does pay.

No I have not heard of this. Sometimes I miss these offers. A lot of times I clicked on these and tried them but I never got my credit.

I've been working Amazon Mechanical Turk for years.  Have done fairly well, could do much better if I worked it more.  I have never received a 1099 from any requester on Mturk.  Most requesters will answer you if you have a problem with their review of your work.  There is a site that most of us that work Mturk will check where workers leave reviews of requesters.  I will admit, some, not a lot, but some requesters are not very appreciative or don't communicate with workers but you can find out that information easily and avoid those requesters.   Most requesters pay within a few days  You NEVER have to wait more than 30 days, Amazon Mturk will automatically pay you if the requester hasn't pain in 30 days.  That's the policy.   Most, or many of the requesters are from university studies.   Others are from different earnings sites, like Receipt Hog and others like that were you have to transcribe the receipts.   I understand your opinion but I respectfully disagree, Mturk is a great site to work.  And yes, you do have to apply first but I've never known anyone to get turned down and I know many folks that work the site.   Just wanted to give my opinion in case anyone is considering signing up.  Sign up, try it and if you don't like it don't work it.

If you decide to give it another shot remember, it's slow in the summertime since most studies are posted by universities.
