I used to be an introvert, very quite around everyone all the time. Then when  the kids father and I split up and I went to work, I changed. Had to or people would have run over me.  I took and took the crap handed to me by the old man and wouldn't say anything. then  a few months  afterwards I never said much and then one day I come uncorked on him and ripped him up one side and the other because he kicked my oldest boy (15) into the irrigation ditch when it  had water in it because he got mad. Dang it felt good and now I am mostly extrovert. helps working with all sorts of people. Yep no more running over this old lady.

I can be the extrovert when at the grocery store to help someone etc, but generally introvert.

The people in my apt building, I mostly avoid.  A few are kinda scary. If you didn't vote for their person (Hillary), or dont want to gossip, it can get ugly. Had one woman come up and yell at me for voting for the person she hates. Yet she was guessing. I don't tell her that stuff she just figured because I don't like Hillary she had me all figured out.  This woman is almost 80. Good grief. Use the little energy you have at that age, and be kind to someone.

One person here was spreading a made up thing here about me dating a man here in the building, and people found it funny. She is always trying to re-connect, but I won't do it. She looks so baffled. I actually caught her spreading the story, and confronted her angrily. Only one of the people she was telling people this apologized. That is pathetic. Only one. They knew I was angry and hurt by it.

So, it is situational.

With family and close friends I jabber away quite comfortably.  Just a different world these days.

Mostly now an introvert. Interesting to me because I am 64 years old and always considered myself an extrovert.....very outgoing.  But the older I get the more introverted I get and am almost a hermit.

100% an introvert. I can keep myself entertained almost indefinitely and if no one contacts me first I can forget to talk to people for days lol.
