Plan
« on: July 08, 2018, 08:29:02 am »
Do you try to plan out your life?

I have somewhat .... to make a time line ....

First thing to get my dental work done.

Then start planning for baby #3

When taxes come back next year I would like to do 3 things
1. Refinance my car
2. But a trailer house
3. Put money away for a vacation

And that’s what I have planned

I have incredibly horrible OCD, that is becoming even more apparent as I get older. That being said, I have to schedule a LOT of things in my life. And if it isn't a schedule, I am making personal deadlines. I like having as much predictability in my life as humanly possible...which is why I despise surprise birthday parties, LOL.

I do plan but many times things just don't work out the way you want them to.  So you have to go with the flow.

Probably isn't going to buy the trailer house outright. And refinancing a car may not need much out of pocket. None of these things necessarily means "a lot" of money back.

Oh yeah I do a lot of planning and making of list. May not always go by the list though. But as for  household bills I am always planning on things, know  just how much each regular bill is going to be, How much a month I am going to  pay on the house mortgage to get the most our of saving the interest . It was a mortgage for  15 years and I got it in 2014 and I now only have 2 more years to pay it off. I believe in making extra payments a month.

Every person should have a life plan.
And they should set goals with deadlines,
also known as "timetables", to achieve these goals.

Planning has been big all my life and put me in a pretty good position as a result. I have two great kids and both should be done with college in three years (one is trying to get into either Oxford or Cambridge for an internship and post graduate studies). I have a very nice house and automobiles. I am in good health and starting to see some decent gains in my retirement funds. I plan on working for another fifteen years at least and have money save towards both kids weddings. All of this came by way of planning on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and looking further ahead to where I wanted to be in five, ten and twenty years. I have had steady growth and manage to keep hitting the large percentage of my goals. Knock on wood that my luck keeps on going!

I want to finish my blog.  And get through anxiety/depression therapy.  It gets better and then all goes to hell.

I guess it's okay to plan things out in your life, but there can also be road blocks, things aren't always an easy road, our lives are already planned out for us, by God, You can try and set goals but things aren't written in stone. Life changes happen every day. I never plan out my day to day activities, whatever happens when I get up, happens, I just thank God he allowed me to wake up.

I have a little of that where I need to know what’s going to happened and all that. I hate last minute changes and find I feel out of control if someone else is controlling the situation

Ive seen trailer homes go for 2000 to 6000 around here.

And I have never refinanced a car but I couldn’t expect it too cost too much.

And this year we only spent $1500 on a vacation
