Just heard some bad news, one of the men from the rescue team had died.  The report said he couldn’t get his breath and died.

I also read that, so sad.  They said the man trained every day and he was a triathlete and a former Thai navy seal.  He gave his life trying to save those young boys.   They also said they are now more concerned than ever because if someone like this diver died they have to worry more about the boys being able to be rescued.

The rescue worker that died ran out of air in the oxygen tank.  I can't understand, but there must be a reason, why they can't tie a rope to the boys and have another one strung from the outside to where the boys and then they can get out that way. That is, unless they're too weak, that is.

In the meantime, besides draining the water, they're also digging another entrance from the top. Since they now have food and drink, they should be okay until they get out unless the rains come early .

I saw on the news last night that the local farmers are allowing them to pump the water out of the caves onto their farms, they said it doesn't matter if I lose all my crops, anything to help the children.  Proves to me there are still great people in the world.

I also heard this morning that Elan Musk, the head of Tesla, is sending specialized engineers to try to help with their rescue.  These boys and their coach are not out of the woods at all!  The rainy season is almost upon them and it is a 6 mile journey through water, dark, and openings that are quite tight to get through.  Can you imagine being underwater much of the time, in blackness, 6 miles long, going through tight openings at times?  It would be very easy to have an anxiety attack.

I am still worried about these poor young soccer players. I was beginning to think their rescue was simply inevitable now, but then I heard an experienced rescuer lost his life while trying to help them. That really shows just how dangerous this situation is. Those poor kids. I hope they all make it out safely.

It gives me an anxiety attack just trying to imagine getting out.  I heard about Elan Musk's offer also, hopefully the engineers he is sending can help find a solution.

Prayers are going out all over the world for those  boys,  The dive teams are wonderful  in trying to  take care of them. Putting their lives in danger for the children. they are true  hero's . How scary it must be for them to be stuck underground like they are.

I can see the kids getting dam mad at the coach since it's all his fault in the first place.

Sorry, I was a little unclear in my comment...they're going to try to rescue it seems like, but having difficulty due to weather, etc.

I think it is too twisty, rocky and the current is very strong from what I understood. It is very difficult for "experts" and such a long distance.
