Are you a chatter?

I enjoy conversing with others but dont like to if i sense they are bad listeners and i can tell right away.Chat has to be mutual on both ends otherwise i care not to.

I wish more of the world's chatters were like you. I'm always being cornered by people who begin telling me their life story out of nowhere and don't seem to notice that I'm giving every possible signal to wrap up the conversation, inching away.

Not usually unless I am in an environment where all people at a place or event should be friendly enough to talk to someone they don't know.

I'm not much of a chatter,,,,,   but if someone would come up to me and talk then I would chat back to them.   Im not the person to go up to someone and start chatting with them for no reason lol

I am so not a chatterer.  I can barely stand to talk to people I know.  I have a friend who will chat with anyone, no matter who they are.  That is her personality.

This thread is very long and I hope I didn't respond already. Anywhoo, I'm usually quiet and enjoy being this way. Some people are talking to pass the time.

I do not chat up strangers in public. I am kind of shy when it comes to the public, but I can be a chatter when it comes to my family and friends because I am comfortable and it doesn't bother me if they think I am talking too much.

When I am close to someone, friends and certain family, yes I can talk. But meeting someone new or barely knowing someone I am not talkative.

I'm like you. Definite introvert here. What's funny is my job as a manager requires me to be outgoing and sociable with my staff, but it frankly takes a lot out of me. After a long day at work, I pour myself a glass of wine and watch the soaps with my cats. That's true happiness for me.
