Civil War
« on: June 26, 2018, 05:22:23 am »
I have seen a lot of comments on Twitter the past few days about how people think we, the United States, will engage in another Civil War.  I saw the same thing on Yahoo this morning and have heard general chatter saying things along the same lines.  I saw something this morning that said it has already started.  And I agree.  People are so full of hate.

This country is more divided that ever before. I do not want to get into a big argument about who is right and who is wrong.  Although, it is obvious who is wrong. lol.

Just curious what others think about this?

It is becoming quite uncivil in the political world of this country right now.
Have a wonderful day!

One side is pushing this, and it isn't the "right" or "Republicans.

You have to see who is chasing whom out of restaurants, and calling for stalking and screaming without reasonable dialog.

Immigrataion was handled the same way under Obama and Bush. It is only important to the Left for their bigger purpose.

There is no way to look at it other than those trying to split the country for their own purposes. Who is doing that?  It is all political, and all about power and votes, not peace and harmony and reasonable diaglog.

I don't think they'll be divided long when everyone will be employed instead of sitting around complaining about why they don't have anything.  Wise up people, The people who have jobs also have guns so get with it and cherish it because it won't be long before morons vote in a person who taxes the crap out of us again.  And they'll sit and complain about that.

The country is already split. People are taking sides. It's like you referenced. A woman is told to leave a restaurant because she supports Trump.  Can you imagine the protesting if a Republican had told a woman to leave the establishment because she supported the last president?  OR if someone had said a pedophile needed to beat and rape his daughters? But yet these same people say that about President Trump's son? The boy is 12.

Every little thing that happens seems to make national news from neighbor disturbances to big things and then there is a huge debate online and everyone taking sides. Then it gets personal with your inner circle when you take an opposing side as a co-worker.

I have seen other stories just today where someone does something or says something someone doesn't like and some idiot with no job and a video camera on their nice new iPhone and then the video goes viral and people are calling for businesses to be boycotted and trying to ruin this person's life - all because you do not agree with something they said.  But if the person with the camera has the same thing happen to them they call it racism.  All I know is things can't keep going in the direction they are headed.

Everyone will never be employed. Too many people who want to ride the freebie train. They don't want jobs. They want a free paycheck.  And the people with jobs - they go to work during the day and the people who ride the freebie train - they know your schedule. I have a neighbor who has cameras at her house and one pointed at the road. She knows when every person on the road comes or goes.

It is so sad that our country seems to be  coming  full circle. those who have want to control those who haven't and those  who have  not want all that those who it work for it to give it up.  Sorry to say but so much of it  was started  in the   last  8 years before  President Trump took over. BLM  is so ingrained in some now  that I don't know  where it is going to end. But don't really think it will al be very good.

I thought ant man and Spider-Man were both good in the fight scene.

I haven't seen any talk about a civil war.  I agree that the country has a lot of hate but I don't think there is more hate than there used to be.  Most of the hatred seems to come from false allegations and a victim mentality.  With all of that, I do believe we are headed in a better direction.

You are correct. The last president is who is to blame for all this.  But it is to the point now that everyone hates everyone else.
