Creed II

The next installment of the Rocky saga got a trailer today. Creed 2 reunites Rocky Balboa with the son of his former rival-turned best friend Apollo Creed to take on the son of the boxer responsible for Apollo's death in the ring-Ivan Drago!

The film comes out in November.

Sounds interesting ... I was not impressed with the first Creed Movie so I'm hoping this one is a little better.

I tried to watch the first one, but I couldn't make it through it unfortunately lol Guess it wasn't my cup of tea haha I do like a couple of the original rock movies though

Are you sure about this? I saw the "trailer" on youtube and some feel it's a gag made by someone creative to tease Rocky fans. I mean come on, Apollo's son fights Drago the geezer after years of barely staying alive in a Siberian prison? I know it's a work of fiction but what's next, Mick's ghost comes back to make Rocky chase a truck full of chickens?

 I saw a couple of the Rocky movies  and enjoyed them. I am not a follower of the series and never saw the first creed movie

I would pay to see this. I really enjoy watching them when I wanna re-watch classics at home.

I don't know if I would pay to see Creed 2. I waited for the first one to come out on DVD to watch it and I didn't really enjoy it. I thought it was going to be better because of all the hype I heard about it.

I hope Sylvester Stallone is it it, that;s pretty much the reason I would go.

Yes, this trailer is not a gag. In it Apollo's son fights Drago's son, not Drago Sr.

Funny, I thought I was the only one who thought the first Creed was just "OK", but seems like the conciseness here.

I think this one will be better. Not only is Stallone in it, but he wrote it as well. You can tell the dialogue is very Stallone-esq.

I love the Rocky movies, and I thought the first Creed was ok although I would probably not have seen it if not for Rocky being in it. I do think the Apollo Jr. vs. Drago Jr. angle is interesting.
